I find that at any of the 3 quality levels, a 2 minute clip takes about 2 minutes to transcode.
I'm not sure why I don't get the poor results others have reported. I have been experimenting with several transcoder programs for my NX1 on a 5K iMac and found that the free Samsung one does just fine.
